Responsibilities

  • Drafting and reviewing legal and corporate documents, further monitoring their accuracy among the team members;
  • Coordinating and assisting in the maintenance of a legal library and legal templates;
  • Resolving complex legal or business matters leveraging advanced legal technical expertise and business awareness in close collaboration with internal Departments as well as external asset management, legal, tax and other advisors on domestic and cross-border corporate or real-estate transactions and proposing solutions for future business needs;
  • Proactively gaining legal and business knowledge to advance individual expertise and implement it as necessary;
  • Contributing to innovation and promoting best practices in alignment with legal requirements;
  • Ensuring the companies’ compliance with corporate laws and regulations;
  • Overseeing and promoting the use of  various tools or databases towards the digitisation of the documentation and data maintenance and working towards their continuous improvement.

Qualifications

What You Bring To The Role

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a legal/corporate department of a fiduciary/law firm/in house legal or corporate position in Luxembourg;
  • Fluent English, any other language will be an advantage (especially German, French or Spanish);
  • Experience with open-ended or closed-end funds is an asset;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Total proficiency with MS Office standard applications;
  • Experience dealing with the Luxembourgish RCS and board meeting organization;
  • Knowledge of the corporate governance framework in Luxembourg;
  • Experience working with and maintaining strong professional links with lawyers, auditors, notaries, service providers;
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a team player;
  • Able to take direction and ask questions;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Resourcefulness and flexibility.
