Why This Role Is Valuable

 

We are seeking an Associate Vice President (AVP) to join our team and focus on the corporate decision making. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a significant role in the documentation of the corporate approvals of high-complexity transactions, enriching their legal and corporate governance expertise constantly for a market leading organisation. They will also have the opportunity to liaise daily with numerous internal and external stakeholders in a role with high visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Attending transactional board meetings and drafting, reviewing, and finalizing the respective agendas and board minutes thereafter
  • Drafting and reviewing legal and corporate documentation pertaining to real estate transactions (acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, (re)financings and other similar transactions)
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements
  • Actively coordinating and assisting with the maintenance of a library of legal templates
  • Coordinating towards the resolution of complex legal or business matters via leveraging advanced legal technical expertise and business awareness in close collaboration with internal Departments as well as external asset management, legal, tax and other advisors on domestic and cross-border corporate or real-estate transactions

Qualifications

What You Bring To The Role

  • Degree in Law required, specialisation in Corporate Law is a plus
  • 7-8 years of experience in corporate administration, company secretarial, or legal roles, with a focus on drafting board minutes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Experience in a Luxembourgish law firm is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and corporate governance requirements
  • Proficiency in using document management systems and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with the use of various tools or databases for documentation and data maintenance is a plus
  • Proactive approach to gaining knowledge and expertise to advance individual and team goals
  • Ability to contribute to innovation and promote best practices within the team
