Responsibilities

  • Perform research and provide tax advice with respect to International/Luxembourgish transfer pricing matters;
  • Process and analyze financial data to produce accurate, compliant reports that will serve to support strategic decisions. Utilize dedicated software, including accounting and bank reporting tools, to operate financial data. Prepare pivot tables and summarize data in dedicated software, conduct credit risk analysis, interpret results, model cash flows, and calculate basic financial indicators
  • Assist with transfer pricing issues for various internal and external stakeholders during tax audits across European jurisdictions and in tax due diligence procedures;
  • Coordinate remotely, provide support and technical guidance to a team of tax and transfer pricing professionals in the Centre of Excellence;
  • Assist in managing various tax and transfer pricing projects by liaising with external advisors in order to help internal teams in implementation;
  • Work closely with Finance, Legal and other Tax team members in reviewing legal documents, suggested accounting treatment, proposed fund flows;
  • Prepare periodic reports for various stakeholders on transfer pricing matters and present transfer pricing results to the board of directors for multiple entities;
  • Participate in drafting and reviewing of multiple transfer pricing reports, prepared both in-house and via external advisors, including Group Master files, Entity Local files, transfer pricing policies, and standalone reports/benchmarking studies;
  • Participate to tax and transfer pricing events, webinars and workshops organised internally and externally;
  • Assist in analysing cash repatriation for European entities, monitoring the relevant compliance matters;
  • Organise international tax and transfer pricing trainings for staff members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance or equivalent; Master’s Degree is considered as an asset;
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar position, ideally in Real Estate Fund industry;
  • Growth mindset, curiosity and enthusiasm for business related matters;
  • Willingness to lead on projects;
  • Resilience for process improvement and efficiencies;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal efficiently with people at different levels of hierarchy;
  • High sense of organization and detail-orientation;
  • Sense of ownership, accountability and urgency;
  • Solution oriented approach/problem-solving aptitude;
  • Ability to work independently but also be an excellent team player;
  • Proficiency with MS Office standard applications;
  • Fluent in English; French or German would be an advantage.
