The role serves as a bridge between raw data and actionable business insights. Applies tools and techniques for business analysis to summarize and present insights in the most appropriate format. Expected to effectively communicate with management and stakeholders, aiding them in comprehending business needs, identifying pain points and inefficiencies, and leveraging data for strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Data Transformation & Querying: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data from disparate sources (e.g., Snowflake, Azure DevOps)
  • AI & LLM Integration: Leverage LLMs and other AI tools to automate workflows, extract structured data from unstructured sources, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Analytical Modeling: Apply statistical and analytical techniques to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and support business growth
  • Visualization & Reporting: Build dashboards and reports in Sigma and Power BI to communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify inefficiencies, and propose data-driven solutions
  • Real Estate Intelligence: Apply basic financial literacy and (ideally) familiarity with real estate concepts to contextualize data and insights
  • Innovation & Application: Translate theoretical concepts into practical applications that deliver measurable value

 

Qualifications

What You Bring To The Role    

Technical Proficiency: 

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or a related field 
  • Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline 
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in ETL pipelines and data transformation 
  • Familiarity with Python and interest in AI/LLM technologies 
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Sigma for dashboarding and reporting 
  • Solid foundation in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis 
  • Basic financial literacy and understanding of core investment and real estate concepts 
  • Ability to apply analytical thinking to finance, accounting, and business strategy 
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a results-oriented approach 
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in translating technical insights for non-technical stakeholders 
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments
