Why This Internship Is Valuable

Your role is to support the Head of Risk and Internal Audit Department. This  internship offer an unique opportunities to work alongside experienced professionals to support real-word audit, risk assessment, and control evaluation across business functions.

 

Responsibilities

Risk Identification and Assessment

  • Participate in risk assessment exercises and maintain the risk register

Assist in Internal Audit Assignment

  • Perform audit testing and document findings in line with internal audit procedures
  • Help preparing working papers and audit reports

Data Collection and Analysis

  • Support data collection activities and assist in basic validation and review information to help identify patterns and support performance monitoring

Process Improvement Initiatives

  • Contribute ideas for enhancing internal control and process efficiencies

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Attend meetings with business units under supervision and take meeting minutes when required

Ad-hoc Support

  • Assist in special projects or investigations as assigned

 

Qualifications

What You Bring To The Role

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of internal audit principles and internal controls
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tool, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to data analysis tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau. This is a plus but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem- solving mindset
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good English written and verbal skills
  • Comfortable working with supervision and gradually building independence
  • Willing to learn and take ownership of tasks with appropriate support
  • Interest on real estate, risk management or internal audit as a career path
