Why This Role Is Valuable

The Transactions team is the entry and exit points for pan-European investments and a crucial element in the processing chain. It provides mainly transactional support to the Blackstone Real Estate Funds by liaising with external counsels, third party service providers and Blackstone to close the transactions with speed, flexibility and certainty. Your role is to support the Transactions team in certain of its functions described below.

Responsibilities

  • Support Transactions team and Blackstone deal execution team with the banking aspects of investments across various pan-European jurisdictions;
  • Coordinating the closing mechanics by liaising with the local legal counsels and various third parties;
  • Preparing and monitoring transaction related payments;
  • Monitoring incoming funds;
  • Taking over / handing over bank accounts;
  • Opening / closing bank accounts
  • Setting up bank mandates;
  • Coordinating KYC and Fatca requests with internal teams;
  • Communication and follow up with Banks;
  • Preparing and working with excel spreadsheets;
  • Updating statutory reporting;
  • Communication with banks and third parties for bank accounts and transaction payments related topics;
  • Organise electronic filing and archiving on server with supporting team;
  • Be the point of contact for any banking transaction related topic.

Qualifications

What You Bring To The Role

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a treasury department of a fiduciary/bank (mid/back-office) or in house position is an asset;
  • Fluent English, any other language will be an advantage (especially Spanish, German or French);
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Knowledge of MS Office standard applications;
  • Experience working with and maintaining strong professional links with banks and internals;
  • Ability to be a team player as well as work independently;
  • Able to take direction and ask questions;
  • Can-do attitude;
  • Open to new technologies;
  • Strong organisational skills;
  • Eye for detail.
