• Design and implement robust software solutions using Python and other modern programming languages
• Develop and maintain Azure-based applications, leveraging serverless architectures and cloud-native services
• Build and optimize message-driven systems (e.g., Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment and integration
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and ensure comprehensive unit and integration testing
• Implement and enforce code quality and security standards using tools like flake8, black, bandit, and SonarQube
• Develop and manage Docker containers and orchestration platforms
• Utilize Git for version control and promote collaborative development workflows
• Produce clear, concise technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Contribute to architectural design and provide innovative solutions to complex problems
• Actively engage with the broader engineering community to share best practices and lessons learned

What you bring to the role

Technical skills

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and its ecosystem
• Experience with TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Next.js
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and serverless paradigms
• Hands-on experience with message-driven architectures
• Proven track record in DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization
• Strong command-line proficiency (bash, zsh, CLI tool development)
• Comfort working across front-end, back-end, and cloud environments
• Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
