Why This Role Is Valuable 

 

The Legal & Compliance team as a whole deals with the corporate, legal, KYC and AML needs of the companies and the structures set up to manage our real estate investments. Your role is to support the Legal & Compliance team in certain of its functions described below.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary contact within the Legal & Compliance team during onboarding and prior to project handover to corporate officers, streamlining processes and facilitating the drafting and review of documentation for corporate officers
  • Be part of the team overseeing the complex, multi‑entity workstreams, ensuring governance and regulatory alignment
  • Devise legal step plans for each workstream, defining milestones, owners, approvals and timelines
  • Coordinate drafting with corporate officers, providing guidance, resources and timely support to keep deliverables on track
  • Review materials prepared by corporate officers for legal accuracy, completeness and consistency with approved templates and policies
  • Remain accountable for results—quality, completeness and timeliness—escalating risks early and driving resolution
  • Contribute to establishing, enhancing, or amending relationships and interactions with service providers and other counterparties
  • Actively support the optimization of processes, digitization of documentation and workflows, and advancement of data governance initiatives within the Legal & Compliance team
  • Organize and participate in regular catch-up meetings as required, providing timely reports on operations and progress
  • Assist in maintaining the company database and help oversee digital archiving and editing processes
  • Collaborate closely with the Legal & Compliance team’s VP and AVPs to ensure the team operates smoothly and efficiently
  • Foster ongoing collaboration with other departments (e.g., Transaction, Account Managers) to promote seamless and timely operations
  • Support the Head of Department and template library team members in supervising, reviewing, and updating the templates library
  • Work in partnership with the Head of Department on organizational matters, performance assessments, and team presentations

Qualifications

What You Bring To The Role

  • Degree in Law required, specialisation in Corporate Law is a plus
  • 7-8 years of experience in corporate administration, company secretarial, or legal roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience in a Luxembourgish law firm is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and corporate governance requirements
  • Proficiency in using document management systems and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with the use of various tools or databases for documentation and data maintenance is a plus
  • Proactive approach to gaining knowledge and expertise to advance individual and team goals
  • Ability to contribute to innovation and promote best practices within the team
